"Memories" VFX Actors
TOP HAT (Male, 50+)
Day Six Films is casting a featured actor to portray “Top Hat” in our psychological horror short, Red Flags. Top Hat is a strange, theatrical figure who appears throughout the protagonist’s nightmares and fractured memories. The role demands a strong character actor whose cheerful playfulness hides something deeply disturbed. Top Hat has no dialogue, so the character must be created through physicality, movement, and intention.
Role Breakdown
Male, age 50+
Comedic acting ability strongly encouraged
Must be comfortable enacting scenes of horror and violence (no stunts)
Tap dancing ability (or the physical comedy chops to fake it in a disturbingly gleeful way) is a major plus.
Experience in comedy, musical theater, tap, dance, physical theater, mime, clowning, or other movement-based performance is welcome but not required
Compensation & Eligibility

Open to both SAG-AFTRA and non-union performers

Filming and Schedule
Filming will take place in Lancaster, PA.
Two Days of Work:
Tuxedo Fitting: Thursday, August 13th at 4:00
Shoot Date: Friday, August 28th or Saturday, August 29th - Night shoot starting at approximately 8:00 PM
