Thomas Krause is an actor and SAG-AFTRA member with training from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and The Second City Hollywood. His work spans film, theater, sketch comedy, and independent film. He will appear in the upcoming independent horror film Estrus, shot in Los Angeles.

Elle Dina
Elle Dina is an actor and writer living in Lancaster, PA. Primarily a live-theatre actor, her favorite regional credits include Lina (Cry It Out; Lanc. Shakespeare Co.), Little Red/Rapunzel (Into the Woods; Open Stage Harrisburg), Una (Blackbird; Susquehanna Stage), Jim Hawkins (Treasure Island; Open Stage Harrisburg) and Ellie (The Whale), and performing U/S for Schwarty (25th Annual Putnam Bee; Fulton Theatre). First Color Guard Girl
Grace Weaver
Grace Weaver plays First Guard in Red Flags. She is a middle school special education teacher who brings energy, focus, and heart to both her work in the classroom and her creative life outside of it. Beyond teaching, Grace enjoys making music, traveling, and staying active through fitness. She is excited to be part of this creative project.

Second Guard
Kelsey Gallagher
Kelsey is from Altoona Pennsylvania. In her free time, she enjoys creating wire-wrapped jewelry, hula hooping, reading, and spending time outdoors on long walks. She's always excited to try new creative experiences, and she's thrilled to be part of this film project and see it come to life.

First Mother
Donna Barnes
Donna Barnes is an actress, author, relationship coach, and media personality with a background in performance, television, and human behavior.
After beginning her career in New York and studying acting, she moved to Los Angeles and later became known as a relationship expert, co-hosting Naked New York and appearing as a relationship expert for Good Morning America.
Her screen credits include Kickboxing Academy, Rumpelstiltskin, Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde, and NightMan. In Red Flags, Barnes plays First Mother, bringing emotional depth, urgency, and lived experience to one of the film’s most haunting confrontations. For more info: donnabarnes.com

Lisa Barrett-Brown is a British actress and artist living in the United States. Her screen work includes roles in independent film and television, with credits such as Love, Faith & Dandelions, On the Roxx, Irish Ashes, and The Highgate Vampyre. With a background rooted in a lifelong love of performance and storytelling, she brings warmth, professionalism, and strong on-camera presence to her work.

Thomas Krause
Producer / Director
Thomas Krause is a SAG-AFTRA actor, writer, director, and producer working in independent film, television, and live comedy. A graduate of NYU Tisch’s Experimental Theatre Wing, he began his career in Los Angeles, where he trained and performed with The Groundlings, The Second City Hollywood, Lesly Kahn, Jonathan Slavin, and Will Wallace.
At The Second City Hollywood, Krause wrote for two years on Second City This Week and wrote and directed original short films, including "Cheesaholics Anonymous." He also worked in production and visual effects for Second City Shorts, including "Sassy Gay Friend." In 2010, his short film for Firecracker Follies Fourth of July won second place at The Gong Show in Los Angeles.
Krause has worked both in front of the camera and behind the scenes, bringing a performance-driven and visually inventive approach to his filmmaking. Most recently, he played the leading male role in Estrus, an ultra-low-budget horror feature shot in Los Angeles.
Now based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Krause works as an ESL teacher at Wheatland Middle School. Through Day Six Films, he is producing, writing, and directing Red Flags, a deeply personal psychological horror short rooted in recovery, memory, guilt, relapse, and the unfinished work of facing the past.

Mariel Ferry
AD / Script Supervisor
Mariel Ferry is a freelance production professional with experience across film, television, live events, theater, fashion, and branded content. She has worked in roles including Producer, Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Production Coordinator, Stage Manager, Casting Associate, and Production Assistant, supporting projects from pre-production through wrap.
Her credits include Production Assistant for the NFL Combine, Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix, NBA Draft 2025, and The Dan Patrick Show; Casting Associate on One Shot with Ed Sheeran; Stage Manager for Mama's Boy and Willy Wonka Jr; and Producer on Transgression, Noblesse Oblige, and Back in Business.
A graduate of Temple University with a degree in Media Studies and Production, Mariel is passionate about storytelling, production logistics, and building organized, collaborative productions. Known for her attention to detail, calm leadership, and strong communication, she excels as an Assistant Director by keeping productions on schedule, coordinating departments, and fostering efficient on-set collaboration.
As a Script Supervisor, she specializes in continuity, script notes, coverage tracking, and ensuring every scene is documented accurately to support a seamless edit. Whether leading logistics behind the scenes or supporting directors and crews on set, Mariel is committed to helping productions run smoothly while bringing every creative vision to life.

Destiny Hildebrand
Lead Camera Operator
Destiny Hills' love for art and storytelling began at a young age. After taking her first film class in high school, she fell in love with filmmaking and knew she wanted to pursue a career in film. She began taking on leadership roles in student projects and completed an internship working as a director at RLATV.
Hills went on to study Film and Theater at HACC, where she directed four films and served as director of photography on two films. On Red Flags, she will bring her visual storytelling experience to the production as Camera Operator.

Zipporah McGowan
Assistant Camera Operator
Zipporah McGowan is a filmmaker and camera operator currently pursuing a BA in Film and Video Studies at George Mason University. She has worked as a camera operator for live events for approximately five years and is drawn to film as a powerful way to tell stories and connect with audiences.
On Red Flags, McGowan will serve as Assistant Camera, supporting the camera department and helping bring the film's visual storytelling to life.

Michael Karaman
Production Sound Mixer / Visual Effects
Hailing from West Chester Pennsylvania and currently residing in Lancaster, Michael is a Motion Media Designer, Sound Designer, Musician, Barista and Cinematographer. Michael graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he studied filmmaking and visual effects. Michael is excited to apply what he’s learned from his prior indie film collaborations by being the AD of Red Flags.

David Stewart
SFX Makeup / SFX Assistant
David is a multi-award-winning SFX makeup artist, a writer/director in his own right, and an obscenely talented concert videographer. He is a consummate professional, utterly and completely serious, with little room for joking or joshing around. Whenever you don’t see him on a film set, on stage at an award show, or shooting a radical punk concert, you can be sure to find him practicing his favorite hobby (of which he also takes very serious): impersonating David Lynch.

Gavin
Sound Designer
When it comes to sound design, Gavin is the one to call! Achieving his BFA in cinema production at Point Park University in Pittsburgh and with over two years of experience, Gavin strives for passion within sound design for post production within the film industry because it is the process that makes a film come to life. Previously, Gavin has mixed on multiple films that have been in film festivals such as Music Of The Night and Bones In The Ocean. Gavin has also previously worked at WQED Pittsburgh where Mr. Rogers Neighborhood was produced along with being on season four of Mayor Of Kingstown.

MaryEllen Krause
Art Departmemt
MaryEllen Baris still doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up. She has a degrees in Architectural Drafting and Design (Johnson College) and Digital Media Communications (Marywood University.) Over the past 30 years she has worked as a structural draftsperson, television director, educator and stay-at-home-parent. She currently lives in Minnesota with her husband and two children.

Patricia Krause
Art / Wardrobe / Craft Services
Patricia is a retired elementary school teacher with a lifelong background in art, theater, and creative work. During her 40-year teaching career, she taught art to students from kindergarten through eighth grade, spending much of her career in the kindergarten classroom. She has also been involved with several community theater groups, working backstage, acting, designing sets, and creating costumes. She is especially excited to bring her creativity to Red Flags and to work alongside her son and daughter on the film.
